What are the stereotypes that describe each of the US regions? Are they valid?
NE SE Midwest SW Rocky Pacific
In the Northeast, they are considered to be jobless.
In the Southeast, they are considered to be rednecks. They have their own accent.
In the Midwest, they are considered to be like the people in the Northeast.
In the Southwest, they are considered to be rednecks like the Southeast.
In the Rockies, they are considered to be somewhat poor and good at skiing and snowboarding.
In the Pacific, they are considered to be like the people in the Northeast.
I think that the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, and Southwest are valid because people are jobless every year when people take their jobs and have none left for them. Also, I it's valid because southerners have different accents then people in the north.
I think the Rockies is valid because there are resorts in the area and people like to go there and snowboard or ski.
I think the Pacific is not valid because California is one of the biggest states in the USA and people can't be jobless unless people migrate there.
